The highly recognized CARF Accreditation Team noted in its final report that "The Athena Center offers a calm and pleasant environment that is conducive to recovery and wellness." It further noted that, "The administrative and professional staff members are passionate, skilled, dedicated, and caring individuals who are committed to the goals of the organization and to the delivery of high quality services. Staff members are motivated, responsive, and enthusiastic in serving the persons served and provide them with high quality clinical services that form a secure base for continued positive growth and development..." Athena is already accredited by the National Council of Accreditation (COA). It is also certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, the Division of Aging, and the Department of Public Safety. |
